The metal version of this classic pocket trick from Royal hasn't been made in over a half a century. The metal versions came with brass tubes, chrome tubes, or nickel tubes and date back to the late 1940s. This is a very popular collectible both for the rarity of the metal tube/Catalin block versions, and the popularity of this familiar Royal product in one of its earliest forms. Items arranging themselves in a tube is a staple of magic and has used coins, dice, blocks, large balls (Stratosphere) with the two arguably most popular being Stratosphere and Royal Magic's Wonder Blocks.

The basic effect as mentioned previously is that of an order change occuring inside the gleeming brass metal tube. Ordinarily the troublesome block is the red one and the blocks have generally been colored white, red, and black and this is the only one (although I am certain there are probably more) that I've come across with the orange block and green blocks (which is coincidentally the "troublesome" block).

The blocks are placed in the tube with the green block going in last but when the blocks are removed the green has shifted to the bottom of the stack and now exits the tube first. This happens a couple of times and to finish the white and orange are placed in the tube and the green is vanished. When the tube is lifted the green makes its reappearance in the tube in between the white and orange blocks. The tube is shown empty and the blocks are completely examinable.

This comes complete with the original 1946 instructions in its original box and all the props necessary to perform this timeless classic of pocket magic. The props are in excellent condition and actually come packaged in their original tissue.
