This autographed Ace of Diamonds was written to Edwin Hoadley who was at least personally acquainted with Mr. Blackstone. This may have been not only due to the common magic bond but also, possibly, due to the artistic inclinations of both gentlemen. This was written to the magic club at the College of Art that Edwin Hoadley was a Professor at (likely).
