SHERM'S MASTER PACK

Many different versions of the "clock" marking system devised by Theodore Deland just after 1900 appeared for generations afterward. Robert Sherman (Sherm's), a notable magic dealer from the early to mid portion of the 1900s sold much of his magic under the Master, or Super brand and such was the case with the cards seen here. Unfortunately they were printed badly on horrible card stock, but they did use the clock marking system and were stripped as well and when sold new were a no less satisfactory introduction to magic for many youngsters than much of the other "slum" magic that was pitched then (and now).
