THAYER SPIRIT RAPPING HAND FRONT

A beautiful example of Carl Owen's work and arguably the most valuable prop I ever owned. This was hand carved by Carl in the 1920's during his tenure at Thayer. Beautifully detailed work and a very realistic hand considering the fact it was carved wood. In other versions of the effect assistants were necessary but not so with the Thayer version. All was self contained and could be performed in the midst of an audience of spectators with the hand eerily dipping and tapping the board in response to queries from the audience.
